The short second life of Bree Tanner - Stephanie Meyer

So I've been having some really bad headaches lately, the sound of my children fussing and any form of electronic noise seems to send my head into a deep dark melodramatic mind numbing paracetamol proof ball of badness, aughhh. I've been reading allot more and it seams to keep the beast quiet. Yesterday i stumbled to my bookshelf and picked up this eclipse novella. Bree Tanner is a new born vampire from Victoria's short lived army, you'll remember her character from Eclipse we meet her just before she is killed by the malicious Jane, a member of the Volturi guard. It's an interesting story, poor Bree seams to have gone through alot of pain since her birth to get to this point in the story, and i am glad she goes out on a high note.. well higher than the rest of her story. As always with Stephanie Meyer the story is well written and the Characters are truley alive. I would not say this book is a must read, but for Twilight junkies like myself it's a wonderful addition to the world she has created. I would love to read more about Fred, a reclusive vampire with special skills who somehow (i'll not give everything away) survives past the end of the book. He seams rather deep and genuine. I'd love to see a nice thick book dated sometime after breaking dawn...Hint hint (please Stephanie i know you'd love to write it)..And it was great to get a little back ground on Riley; a one year old vampire who seams to just appear into the battle scene of Eclipse. For all other Twilight lovers out there give it a read, you'll really feel for Bree and she gives a fantastic perspective into the mind of a new born vampire that we just don't get with Bella's special mind blocking powers.
